Pre requisites

You must have submitted the pre requisite certs as follows: 

Powerboat level 2 cert and min 20 hours driving logged on Check klick account 

1st Aid cert

VHF cert ( not compulsory for the course but essential for working afloat)

Pre entry cert within a year

Dinghy sailing Check klick logbook up to date

Have completed 2 or more of the advanced modules: advanced boat handling, adventure, go racing, adventure.

Age 17 or within 6 months of reaching 17. No outer limit !

The course is lead by Ireland’s most experienced Instructor Trainer, Eddie English who has trained 100’s of successful sailing instructors.  You learn how to organise a fleet and teach on the water, to make a presentation in the classroom, the importance of understanding your student, how to communicate and much more.
