What is Basic Skills

This is Level 2 on the Irish Sailing certified sailing scheme. Here you will learn how to helm a boat in light winds , understand how it all works and get the best out of your boat. You will become more confident and understand all the skills which you need to go afloat in a safe and competent manner.  It is recommended that you have done the level 1 Start Sailing so that there are no gaps in your knowledge.
