About this Course

The SailCork “Taste” of powerboating runs from our base at beautiful East Ferry, Cobh. P24 F958.

You will be introduced to some Powerboating skills under the safe supervision of our qualified Instructor. After a safety briefing in our chartroom your instructor will ensure you are kitted for the conditions. You will see how a boat is prepared and learn the basic controls before departing from the tranquil surroundings of East Ferry. Then it’s on to tour the magnificent Cork Harbour at high speed. See Cobh from the sea, Spike and Haulbowline Islands and vessels plying the waters of this vast harbour before returning to base.... and planning your next trip afloat!
