About this course

Set up as part of the Youth Development Programme for ages 13-17, ideal for TY year students. Hop aboard for 5 days in Cork Harbour or Dublin for the time of your life. Learn to become a team member and sail this beautiful boat with your new skills as a Competent Crew. How it works

Beginning at East Ferry Marina, Cobh  or Dun Laoghaire where you and family are welcomed by the team.

The course fee includes berth onboard and meals. Bring a soft bag of gear for all weather conditions. After a Safety brief and life jackets are issued by your Skipper, you will be shown around the boat. It will be time to cast off and head into the greater Harbour for a shakedown sail. As the week progresses, you will become more confident as you learn to crew and work with your crew mates, all good team work.  Males and females are assigned separate overnight quarters . Meals are prepared onboard by crew so it is vital that you inform us of any allergies or dislikes. Keep a diary of your week as we guarantee this will be one of the best times of your life !!
