About This Course

Eddie English and the SailCork team will deliver our popular RYA Essential Navigation and Seanmanship course over 2 days.  

The course provides an introduction and an insight into basic navigation . Recommended to complete beginners as a short introduction to the sport or those who wish to have a basic foundation before embarking on a more comprehensive navigation course like the Day Skipper. It suits small boat sailors, dinghy instructors, sea swimmers, kayakers and rowers, leisure fishing, windsurfers, kite surfers or those with an interest in maritime skills. 

Course director Eddie English is an ISA/RYA Yachtmaster Examiner. Eddie’s reputation is recognised worldwide having sailed in Europe, the Caribbean, the Mediterranean, the USA, Australia and the Pacific. Eddie is supported by Yachtmaster Instructor and Senior Powerboat+ Dinghy Instructor, Cormac Hennessy.
